VONROLL ITECS IS JOINING FERNAO NETWORKS
FERNAO Networks is acquiring vonRoll itec with the cooperation of the existing company management – all structures, locations, and organization will be maintained.
The IT security and network specialists FERNAO Networks are welcoming vonRoll itec, a company specializing in IT outsourcing and cloud services, as a new member of their group.
The long-standing management of vonRoll itec, led by CEO Martin Vogt and COO Vanja Rohr, hold a large share in the company and will continue to oversee operations. The continuity is also visible in the composition of the new board of directors: both have a place on the board, with Vogt serving as president. “We are grateful that we were able to develop so favorably under the aegis of the vonRoll infratec group, and we think that our partnership with FERNAO Networks will produce excellent added value for both sides – not just for our companies but for our customers,” says Vogt.
The company’s strategy of focusing on hybrid cloud operating concepts, SAP Hana, digitalization, and business abroad will be continued, and all existing structures and organizations will be maintained. The data centers in Gerlafingen and Solothurn will be kept. “We are now able to offer our customers know-how and resources in IT networks and security. This will allow us to continue our growth trend and develop the company positively,” says Vogt.
For the customers of FERNAO Networks, the addition of vonRoll itec to the group will provide access to new expertise in PaaS (Platform as a Service). Hendrik Sauer, managing director of FERNAO Networks: “We are happy that vonRoll itec, the experienced and acclaimed specialists for solutions in Microsoft Azure and SAP Hana, could join the FERNAO group.” For FERNAO Networks, this represents an entry to the Swiss market. “We look forward to future collaboration with the management of vonRoll itec, and we are convinced that we can bring the group further together,” says Sauer.
