VONROLL ITEC AG IS BECOMING SOMNITEC AG

VonRoll Itec, the Swiss specialists in IT infrastructure outsourcing and cloud services, are changing their name: since April 1, their company is now called Somnitec. This change follows the purchase of shares in the company by FERNAO Networks and company management in May 2017 (see our previous article). As part of this sale, the company parted ways with the VonRoll Infratec group.

In addition to the name change, Somnitec is introducing two new leadership positions. Mirco Blöchliger has been named the new Head of Delivery, taking over some of the responsibilities of COO Vanja Rohr. Tobias Franz is now Head of Technology; he will expand the market with hybrid cloud solutions for Microsoft environments and further develop a series of innovative topics. With these new managment reinforcements, COO Vanja Rohr can focus more on business development and continue to pursue the strategic areas of hybrid cloud services, SAP Hana, and business abroad.

Martin Vogt remains CEO. “Our separation from the VonRoll Infratec group, the new name, and the new global branding of Somnitec highlight our commitment to the chosen strategy while demonstrating our continuous development,” says Somnitec CEO Martin Vogt. “Despite the name change and rebranding, our customers will continue to receive the same comprehensive services from the same Swiss company.” Management and the entire team are available for contact.
