What’s in store for you

You will work within a support team that delivers sophisticated identity and access management solutions to the automotive industry. Your personal skills will very much be put to the test. We want you to put yourself and your personal interests into the work performed by our team so that we can offer you the most relevant possible development opportunities.

Specifically, you will be doing the following:

  • You will receive error reports and resolve them with help from experienced service staff
  • As well as troubleshooting and analysis, your responsibilities will include proactively averting disruption and implementing updates and software deployments
  • According to your prior knowledge and analytical ability, you will be increasingly given independence in your work
  • Support is performed almost exclusively on your PC; error reports are delivered to the team over the client’s IT solution
  • To analyze issues and monitor the systems, you will work with shell scripting, SQL, LDAP, and various other programming languages and analysis tools, e.g. SPLUNK and NAGIOS

What you need to bring with you

Our team is looking for:

Natural curiosity about technology and, above all else, an interest in understanding the background of technical processes Ability to recognize, solve, and avoid IT problems
Rapid grasp of complex processes and procedures and ability to make them understandable to others Sufficient confidence and responsibility to work within heterogeneous environments
Some prior experience in dealing with various hardware and software architectures, operating systems, databases, and storage systems. You are familiar with software development to better understand software solutions and development processes
Fluent written and spoken German and English. When receiving error reports, you need to be able to show patience, empathy, and self-confidence
Reliability, professional and time scheduling flexibility, not afraid of periods of high workload
Most importantly, you need to enjoy working as part of a team, with long-term enthusiasm for your work
